You Know You Live in a Big Family If.....

Here's a fun section that I'll be coming back to whever I think of something new....enjoy! :D

--
You know you live in a big family if... you're required to drink out of one waterbottle all day long because "if everybody forgot their cup 1 time, that would be 16 cups!!!"

You know you live in a big family if... "free time" involves either watching or playing with a younger sibling!

You know you live in a big family if...there are rules about when you can and cannot have gum!

You know you live in a big family if...doing a really good job on a chore means graduating to an even bigger, more time-consuming chore and getting to train a younger sibling on the chore you know can do easily!

You know you live in a big family if...every meal is interrupted by taking one of your siblings to the bathroom.

The B-Team with the famous Aunt Terinda ;)

(My personal favorite...:)You know you live in a big family if...you can quote lines from VeggieTales!

You know you live in a big family if...your family can eat an entire jar of applesauce in one setting...with no seconds!

You know you live in a big family if...for your birthday, you get one really cool present....and a lot of sweet kisses, hugs, and letters from your siblings (or a "I'll do your least favorite chore for a month" coupon)!

You know you live in a big family if...some of your very favorite movies are animated!

You know you live in a big family if...you know what a "Well-Child Checkup" is!

You know you live in a big family if... going to Costco is a family field trip!

I'll add more whenever I think of some. If you think of a few, write them in the comments or email them to me, and I'll be sure to include them in the next posting!

  1. ...when a friend comes by and comments on the chaos, and you say, "What chaos?" and then realise she meant the five people trying to speak to your mom who was herself trying to clean up a spill, help someone with math, talk on the phone, and get someone out the door to a music lesson.

    Hahaha! Thanks, Mary
That one's true, too! Sometimes, multi-tasking just doesn't work.
I'll be sure to add that in my next "You Know You're In a Large Family If..." post.
